Meet the Provider

Gareth Penta is a board-certified and doctorally prepared Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.  With over a decades experience in healthcare, he’s provided care for children and adults with a wide variety of mental health needs – inpatient crisis stabilization, high intensity mental health needs as a FACT and WISe provider, Correctional mental health, and routine outpatient care.

Every patient brings their own lived experiences and unique needs, and I work with each patient in a collaborative manner.  This has continually proven to bring the best outcomes – drawing on their strengths, while identifying areas that may need additional attention.

Having a demonstrated history of service to others within his community and across the globe in a variety of capacities – Gareth has volunteered as a firefighter, deployed as a soldier in the United States Army Medical Corp, and provided patient care as a nurse in multiple health systems. These experiences have provided a unique perspective on providing excellent care for others.

Having now come full circle, he has returned to his community to provide mental health services for children and adults in Longview, Washington.
